We are SO excited that the Color Run is back this year! This is a highlight of the year for the kids and this year's Olympic theme is sure to be a fun one. Students will be asking for financial pledges from family and friends leading up to the run and will greatly appreciate any amount you can give. All funds raised this year will go toward the installation of sun shades in the playground and track areas at our school! Thank you for helping this be our most successful fundraiser yet!

Ron Clark Academy Professional Development

This project will cover the registration cost so I can attend the one-day Educator Training at the Ron Clark Academy (RCA) in Atlanta, Georgia! RCA is well-known for highly engaging teaching methods, rigorous academics, high expectations, a school climate that provides success for all students, and passionate educators who love what they do. Attending training at RCA will allow me to observe, attend workshops, strengthen my teaching strategies, and learn from master teachers.

A positive culture and classroom climate is something I strive for every day, and attending RCA professional development will allow me to witness this first hand!

RCA is known for how they have transformed the educational climate and the way teachers engage our students in the content they are learning. I will also be able to come back to my school and share what I have learned so I can implement these school culture and climate strategies not only with my classroom but with my school family. Thank you for considering my project!

Baseball, Bob Jones Baseball,
Bob Jones Baseball 20 for 20 Campaign

The Bob Jones Patriot baseball team is trying to raise $300 per player to go towards the program’s needs this season.  Your contribution will go a long way to help us in our goal to be one of the best high school baseball teams not only in the state, but in the nation.  I am asking you to sponsor me with a donation of $20 or more on my behalf.  Your donation will count towards my personal fundraising goal for this season.

All donations will go directly towards facility improvements and items that directly benefit the players.  With your donations last year, we were able to purchase a hitting Rapsodo unit and attend Perfect Game and PBR Tournaments!  This year we plan to use your donations to purchase a new batting practice portable backstop and new dugout padding!

In 2021, we advanced to the 7A playoffs for the 3rd consecutive year while winning 26 games!  Also, five seniors signed baseball scholarships to continue their baseball careers.  Our goal this season is to reclaim the  Area Championship and advance to Montgomery to WIN the 7A State Championship and bring the blue map home to Madison!!

With your donation, you become part of our program; a program that will continue to rise with the support of people like you.  Please visit our website at https://www.bjpatriots.com/, and follow us on Twitter and Facebook at @BJHSBaseball.  We have also attached copies of our 2022 schedules, and we hope to see you at our games!  Lastly, your financial support of Patriot baseball is tax deductible 501(c)(3).  We appreciate your support of Patriot baseball, and we hope to make you proud!

Thank you for your interest in Honoring Your Educator! This new program is a way for parents, grandparents, mentors and friends of our students to give back to teachers by honoring them in a meaningful way! For those interested, you may make an online gift. You will be asked to select the school in which your student attends and let us know your educator that has made an impact! The gift will then be transferred to the school and the educator you choose! The educator will be able to use this gift for their classroom or department to continue to benefit all students! Not only will the educator receive the gift for their area, they will also be recognized with a certificate and pin to wear. The recipient will never know the amount of your gift, so nothing is too small or large. We hope this is a simple way to recognize those who invest in our students, as well as continue a legacy in their classroom for years to come! For more information, questions, or alternative donations, please contact the Development Office – lshaw@madisoncity.k12.al.us.

We would like to add an outdoor classroom at Columbia Elementary that all class would be able to use. This would benefit 800 students in grades K-6.

Recess Fun

A huge part of school each day is recess - kids need to PLAY! And they like to play all sorts of games.  I am requesting some help to purchase recess materials for our 2nd grade students - balls, games and other fun materials.  We are so glad to be able to play on the playground again and we could really use a variety of playthings to get kids fully engaged during free time.  And to make it even more fun, children would also love a portable speaker so we can listen to dance music during recess.
